Hotel Carlos I ****, opened to the public in January 2000, is the result of more than 30 years of hopes and devotion to what we enjoy the most, hotel accommodation. We have poured into this project all our experience and love with a single aim: to get your smile.
We are located in Sanxenxo, tourist capital of Galicia, just 50 metres away from the well-known Silgar beach and just 150 metres away form the marina.
We are on the Firth of Pontevedra, opposite the Island of Ons, which together with Sálvora and the Cíes Islands make up the Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands, a unique landscape in the world.

Rooms
At our hotel, we have 130 rooms, especially conceived for you to enjoy your time in the most comfortable manner. Taking this aim into account, we have designed warm welcoming spaces in which every single detail has been carefully studied, from the colour and orientation of furniture to the touch of our bed linen.
All our rooms are fully equipped with satellite TV, telephone inside the room and full bathroom, hairdryer, piped music, bar, safety box and acclimatiser (air conditioning and heating) with individual temperature regulation.
Furthermore, we have three superior rooms including living room and hydro-massage bathtub.


Convencions and congresses
Carlos I is the hotel with the biggest assembly hall surface in Sanxenxo, with a total figure of 1,405 m2 for this exclusive purpose, at your disposal for any kind of leisure or professional event or even family celebration you may wish to hold.

Golf
We have a partnership with the Meis golf course, which possesses 18 holes that are amongst the most attractive in the peninsula and therefore we can offer you green fees at special prices for all our customers, as well as private golf lessons, for all those who still have not tried this sport or for those who may want to improve their technique.

We can also offer you specific programmes combining golf and Spa activities, a clear bet on your quality of life.

Our commitment with golf is absolute and as a proof thereof we have sponsored for the third year in a row the Carlos I Tournament, with 186 players in its latest edition, which has already become a key agenda appointment for many golf lovers.
