The
list of reasons is long and they have all one thing in common: you need
the help of a personal trainer. His task is to determine in what shape
you are and then to give you advice, explain, to motivate you and in
the end create an individual exercise plan for you.
If you are one of the lucky ones to live on this beautiful island, or
you enjoy your vacation here, you already have an advantage to do a
successful training.
Mallorca offers the best training conditions throughout the year and
the Mediterranean climate helps a lot to stay motivated even when after
the first excitement the novelty wears off.
And believe me, that often happens. For example, you would like to
loose weight. Besides the nutrition guidelines you need a specific fat
burning training which means 3 to 4 times per week cardio vascular
training maintaining the correct pulse.
For that you need a personal trainer, maybe only for a few hours to get
the right technique explained and to create a personal training plan.
Then you are on your own and you do your “homework” according to your
individual plan. You might feel more comfortable with a trainer right
next by your side because you need motivation once in a while.
For example you like a training that has increasing intensity which needs intensive coaching.
The nicest moments for a personal trainer is when it “klicks” and a new
sportsman has been born who will motivate himself in the future.
If sports activities are carried out in the right frequency we can
avoid many illnesses that go together with our modern lifestyles. A big
paradox nowadays is that life has become faster but we move ourselves
less then before. However sports is one of the best and cheapest
therapies and the results prove the successes.

In my opinion the the right balance of sports activities should be a
combination of cardio vascular - , muscle – and relaxation training,
which could be different for each individual. Like workaholics there
are also “sportsaholics” who loose this balance and can damage their
body because of this.
“Weekend athletes”, are those who want to level out all their sports
activities in a few hours during their weekend take a very high risk.
Also for them the rule is: the right balance and regularity are the key
to success!
